Aventus, a renowned web3 platform that provides enterprise blockchain solutions and parachain on Polkadot, has just revealed a major upgrade to its platform.

According to an official announcement today, the network has confirmed the launch of Aventus 2.0, a vision developed through collaborative efforts from MVP Workshop, a Blockchain Product Research & Development Studio, Scytale Digital, and the Aventus Services team.

While the launch of Aventus 2.0 marks a notable milestone for the Polkadot ecosystem, it has evolved from the Aventus Network’s unrelenting mission to establish a stronger foundation for long-term growth and value capture.

Aventus 2.0 Introduces New Features to Enhance Network’s Performance

Following its design, Aventus 2.0 will feature various strategic initiatives to enhance network performance and stakeholder utility, including increasing transaction volume and overall network usage. The update will also expand the ecosystem through successful partnerships with Layer 3 app chains, enhance token holder engagement via a liquidity mining program, and reduce token supply via a burn mechanism. 

The announcement revealed that the Aventus Services team would implement the Aventus 2.0 plan over the next four months after approving a community governance proposal in which AVT token holders voted to execute this vision.

This impressive development reflects the platform’s commitment to stakeholder-driven decision-making, ensuring that major network decisions are made through community consensus.

Alan Vey, the Founder of Aventus, acknowledged the significance of the new update, saying,

Following its mission to enhance the network’s performance, Aventus2.0 has been built with three main components: a Layer 3 app chain model, a liquidity mining program on Uniswap, and a new collator rewards mechanism.

The Layer 3 app chain model will allow enterprises to operate on the Aventus Network and benefit from the security, scalability, interoperability, and decentralized infrastructure offered by the Aventus ecosystem. This model is already seeing traction, as existing users of the Aventus Network have recently launched their own Aventus Layer 3 app chains.

Furthermore, the liquidity mining program on Uniswap will feature a custom user-friendly dApp to enhance token holder engagement. Meanwhile, the new collator rewards mechanism will ensure a secure and efficient Aventus Network, alongside an automatic burn mechanism for a portion of gas fees to reduce the overall supply of AVT tokens in circulation.
