Tether and Rezo Money Collaborate to Boost Blockchain Education in Guinea


Tether Operations Limited, a leading digital asset company, has partnered with Rezo Money, a digital payment platform, to enhance blockchain education in Guinea. This partnership was revealed through Tether’s official X platform and is meant to increase financial literacy and inclusiveness for the citizens of the West African state.

Within the framework of the launched initiative, Rezo Money will conduct practical meetings in the form of workshops at three universities in Conakry, the capital of Guinea. During these sessions, topics as basic as the definition of blockchain and as specific as cryptocurrency payment types will be touched. It is aimed at helping students familiarize themselves with the principles and applications of blockchain technology. Participants will be able to apply knowledge through Rezo platform project where they will be able to learn how to use blockchain and stablecoins practically.

Tether’s New Initiative Aims to Enhance Digital Literacy and Financial Inclusion

The partnership also highlights Tether’s vision of promoting digital learning in growth economies. Through the proposed blockchain literacy drive, the initiative aims at enhancing the provision of banking services, creating better remittance systems, and the fight against inflation. It is believed that this type of education will assist people, increase their economic resilience, and help build communities.

Paolo Ardoino, Director of Tether, spoke positively about this project. He stated that they are glad to partner with Rezo to ensure that education on blockchain is taken in Guinea. This undertaking will help enhance the student’s ability to participate in the digital economy by providing them with the knowledge and skills required.

Rezo’s Co-founder and CEO, Ibrahima Soumano, remarked this partnership as a significant milestone towards providing blockchain education to those who might require it in forms they can understand well.

Tether has previously funded numerous education-related goals in Africa, including the Africa Tech Summit and The African Bitcoin Conference, held in Ghana. This new partnership with Rezo Money further extends Tether’s mission in promoting blockchain and cryptocurrencies.
