Ark Gives the Public Sensational Surprise by announcing the Date for its v2 Codebase

Ark is surely not living by their motto “Ark gives no date” this time around, the company is excited to introduce the release date of their Core v2 Codebase.

The information about the Code v2 reveals that it will be available for testing on DevNet (Ark’s public test network) for the general public to see participate and state their opinion to the whole development.

The stipulated time for this exercise will be on the 14th of June, 2018. It will require officials from DevNet and relay nodes to harmonize it.

“We have completely rewritten our core to make it faster, more scalable, more modular, and easier to work with some great new features. Such as Dynamic Fess and Multisig support. This rewrite has been months in the making and we are very proud to show the world what next level of DPoS can do!” Travis Walker, Co-Founder of Ark revealed.

The Blockchain cross-network ecosystem ARK has also given some vital information on the strings of activities that will follow before the big event, and they are as follows:
The first step will be making public of the ARK Core v2 code on their GitHub repository and it will immediately followed by a well-designed blog post that will specify the date of public release.

This will render the present Ark Node codebase obsolete and will automatically be replaced by the new Ark Core v2 repository.

Afterward, there will be a general update of the app by the community and officials who are making use of the old Ark Node.

The new Core V2 will support many operating systems and will be much easier to install as directives on how to make an effective installation will be released.

After the installations of the core v2 has been done then vigorous testing of the code can begin and at the end complaints, recommendations, etc. will be highly welcomed to help with the apps smooth flow when it is eventually released.

After the first two phases are finished, they will be released on another date by Ark where the transition of the ark core to the MainNet will be. This decision is linked to the success of the testing on the DevNet.

The final phase will be for all users to adopt the AIP-11 which will require the users to update after the release of the core in the MainNet.

The update will make it possible for the network to be able to switch and sustain the new transactions, and the hard fork will certainly not operate in backward motion.

This whole process no doubt is still dependent on how successful the Core v2 is sailing on the MainNet, the hard fork will be tested as soon as v2 is operating smoothly on MainNet.

All the processes are intertwined, but still, ARK wants the public to be set and expectant as they embark on the journey of discovery together.
