Monero’s Cake Wallet now supports Unstoppable Domains’ .crypto usernames

Blockchain domain name provider Unstoppable Domains today announced support for the open source Monero, Bitcoin, and Litecoin wallet, Cake Wallet.

Now, Cake Wallet’s 150,000 users can send Monero (XMR), Bitcoin (BTC), and Litecoin (LTC) across 50+ wallets and exchanges with Unstoppable Domains’ easily readable usernames.

Usually, sending Monero and other cryptocurrencies requires entering the recipient’s alphanumeric wallet address. Yet, if mistyped or miscopied, these funds can be forever lost.

By utilizing Unstoppable Domains, instead of “156i6HJfMWb1h2BEsKpfvZ2tQugqo4vs2w” users can type “[YourName].crypto” to send crypto funds.

Cake Wallet now supports Unstable Domains

Launched in 2018, with Cake Wallet, users can create multiple wallets and accounts and back them up on the cloud. In addition, Cake Wallet includes an exchange function to easily swap XMR, BTC, LTC, ETH, USDT, ADA, and more.

To date, Unstoppable Domains has sold more than 1 million domain names, which are minted as NFTs on the Ethereum blockchain.

“Monero and Cake Wallet have a robust, privacy-focused global community; and now they can easily connect their blockchain domain name, to make private crypto transactions as simple as sending an email.”
