@Hodlonaut Crowdfunding Campaign Spins Up Uniting Crypto Community Against Craig Wright

As Coinspeaker has already reported, Craig Wright, a self-proclaimed Satoshi Nakamoto, is not going to keep calm trying to make people believe that he is a person who created Bitcoin. A crowdfunding campaign in support of Hodlonaut’s legal battle against this “Faketoshi” is gaining momentum and it doesn’t look like that anyone is going to move to Wright’s camp.

We Are All Hodlonaut

Let us refresh in your memory the key points of this story. It’s a widely known fact that there are not so many enthusiasts who are ready to believe that Wright is a real Satoshi. On Twitter, the #CraigWrightIsAFraud hashtag has already become rather popular but initially, there were several users who tried to promote it.

@Hodlonaut was also one of them. It’s quite obvious that Wright and fellow Bitcoin SV advocate Calvin Ayre didn’t like it. As a result, Wright demanded an apology from Hodlonaut, whose identity similar to Satoshi Nakamoto is a secret, for his accusations.

Wright’s attorney even threatened Hodlonaut with a libel case due to the fact that he didn’t want to apologize. Moreover, Wright served more legal notices to some other people who, according to him, are trying to damage his reputation, Ethereum’s Vitalik Buterin and popular podcaster Peter McCormack are also in this list.

Moreover, it has also become known that Wright and Ayre are ready to allocate a bounty of 70 BSV or around $5,000 for revealing the identity of Hodlonaut based on the tattoo that he showed in some of his posts earlier.

Nevertheless, the community members have already chosen who they are going to support. Many Twitter users have changed their profile pictures for the astronautical feline to show their support and are actively pushing the hashtag #WeAreAllHodlonaut

But these are not the main initiatives launched in support of Hodlonaut. Lightning Labs cofounder Elizabeth Stark launched a Bitcoin crowdfunding campaign to help this Twitter user cover legal expenses against a lawsuit from Craig Wright.

The goal of the campaign has been reached practically immediately. More than 1000 backers have already gathered around $30,000 to support Hodlonaut’s legal fund.

You Are Not Satoshi Challenge

It’s also worth mentioning that a lot of Twitter users have not been frightened by the fact that Wright had already filed defamation complaints to some people. Instead of sitting quietly, active Twitter users have launched the “You are not Satoshi” challenge that in general looks like mocking of Wright’s attempts to sue those who do not want to believe him.

Even Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, had a say in the challenge.

Moreover, the situation with Wright and the entire move in support of Hodlonaut has attracted the attention of Changpeng Zhao, the Binance CEO, who has warned that he would delist Bitcoin SV from his platform if Wright still insists on being Satoshi Nakamoto and continues threatening to those who are not going to support him.
